I have been meaning to head out and check out the Autumn colours in the New Forest. After a few hours in the office I thought I deserved to take a break 🙂
I wasn’t exactly sure where to go, only that I wanted somewhere I could park the car. Then, get out and walk around without having to worry about the pay and display, or time limits.
There are a multitude of little walks in and around the New Forest, all with car parking for a several cars.
After a 15 minute or so drive, I pulled off at a little area called Culverley.
It was a good choice to get the chance to photograph Autumn Colours in the New Forest. There were also some sawn tree trunks. Always good for  bit of texture in  photograh
I didn’t have long to photograph my Autumn Colours in the New Forest
I had about 30 minutes, so I didn’t waste any time. The sun was out, the sky was blue (well most of it) with just a few clouds to spoil the view!
It was a little soggy underfoot, but nowhere near as soggy as it’s likely to get over the next few weeks
As I only had a half an hour or so, I was never going to be able to get too far. Luckily, the spot I chose had a few little paths leading here and there. They gave me more than an opportunity to get some colourful Autumn photos.
My favourites are below, I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them!
