We stayed locally, a Saturday night when going to a friends wedding nearby. So we decided to do a quick review of the Bower Inn Bridgewater.
We arrived at 11.15am after a 90 min drive. On arrival, we were surprised and pleased to be told our room could be ready in 15 minutes.
11.30am we were in and could freshen up and change. The receptionist, Deb was really helpful and ordered us a taxi to take us to the wedding venue.
The room itself was fresh, clean and bright with a decent size bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided. A small jar of biscuits too, which made a nice change to the small packets of biscuits you normally get.
The ensuite bathroom of our room at the Bower Inn Bridgewater was a decent enough size. Including a big double rain shower and constant hot water. Not always the norm!! We all got the obligatory Tea & Coffee making facilities, which is quite common these days in all hotels and B&B’s you stay in.
Was it a good Breakfast? The Bower Inn Bridgewater
Breakfast was served between 8.30am and 10 am, with check out being 11 am. Selection of cereals fruit and a full English was on offer.
The full English came and it was quite small, consisting of one sausage, one rasher of bacon, half a tomato, mushrooms and an egg.
Initially, I thought it wouldn’t do, but it did, so I was happy. However, those with bigger appetites than me may have been a little disappointed.
My only real issue was there was only orange juice and no apple, my favourite especially after being slightly hung over from a wedding.
All in all, a really good stay and if visiting the area again, I would definitely look at staying at The Bower Inn again.
Comfy!
It was, a decent place to spend a night for sure!!
