Today we decided to see the Falls close up, and booked on the Hornblower Niagara Falls Cruise.
A glamorous breakfast of cereal pots in the hotel and it was off to catch the boat for a cruise right up to Niagara Falls.
Unlike yesterday, we walked to the river down a different hill. It tooks us through a crazy golf type amusement area, with a dinosaur theme.
It was really hot and humid today, but knowing in about 30 minutes we were likely to be soaking wet, we endured it.
Hornblower Niagara Falls Cruise
The Hornblower Niagara Cruise was great fun. Battling the wind, and the spray to try and get a few iPhone photographs was tough. Taking a video was no easier.
We all really enjoyed getting up close and personal. The Hornblower Niagara Falls Cruise is perfect if you want to see the falls close up! And you get to wear a fetching pick poncho!
Everywhere we go, we hunt down a Hard Rock and grab a small kids T-Shirt. I think we have about 10 at the time of typing, so plenty more to get!
We had lunch while we were there, and John McEnroe’s guitar (among others) and bought the customary tshirt.
Walked back to hotel for Max nap and a Suzie snooze and me to do a bit of work.
Went out in the evening tea at Applebee’s not very nice service was poor. Brought our mains 2 mins after starters!!!
Got turned away from the casino because we were with the gambler that is Max. Not sure why, perhaps they thought he would get corrupted at a young age!!
It was a fun day, the highlight surely the Hornblower Niagara Falls Cruise. He was still awake but happy, we put him down for his sleep as soon as we got in. Tomorrow, we start the drive back, ultimately to New York.
